On Wednesday 22nd January, colleagues from across the Group held R&W’s very first Supply Chain event in Exeter. These types of events give us the opportunity to not only get to know our Supply Chain partners better but also gives them an insight into R&W’s up and coming works and how they might be able to support us.
Howard and Mark H kicked off the day with an overview of the R&W Group and how the business has grown in recent years. Matt Cooper, R&W Supply Chain Manager, also gave an insight into our collaborative working style and how we can help our supply chain help us.
The Buying Team were also on hand to catch up with current suppliers and meet potential new members of the R&W supply chain.
Key R&W suppliers also had the opportunity to promote their products and services, including Site Safety who also ran a competition.
This event primarily focused on the South West area, but due to its storming success future events are in the pipeline, with one already confirmed for 11th March to focus on the South and South East areas.
