R&W continues to support the James Hopkins Trust's Kite Ball and Easter donations. The James Hopkins Trust is a charity in Gloucestershire who provide nursing care for Gloucestershire's life limited and life threatened young children.
One of the Trust's annual fund raising events is the Kite Ball, where people and companies come together to donate auction prizes to help raise funds. R&W were proud to donate the star prize of a sailing trip for 6 people across the Solent on the R&W yacht (for the second year running) which raised over £2,000 for the Trust.
Many of the children helped by James Hopkins Trust can't eat orally so this Easter they asked for £1 donations rather than Easter Eggs to help fund trips for the children over the Easter period. The children made their own Easter Egg money boxes and R&W were able to raise £164.44 which we presented to the Trust at the end of March.
