R&W provides a comprehensive range of civil engineering, traffic management and environmental services with specialist expertise in highways maintenance. We have been successfully operating across the south of England for over 35 years.
Our people continue to embrace our founder’s traditional values of reliability, adaptability, trust and integrity. Whilst the range of services we offer has hugely expanded since 1981, our aim continues to be to provide all of our customers with a first class service which is second to none.
Our company is run by highly motivated people who offer our customers innovative civil engineering solutions by utilising our extensive in-house resources, technical expertise and local knowledge.
We offer complete solutions for government agencies, main contractors, local councils and other private clients. From bridge reconstruction to groundworks; drainage schemes to vehicle restraint systems; we plan, build, repair, maintain, refurbish, and recycle through our five businesses: R&W Civil Engineering; R&W Traffic Management; R&W Environmental; R&W Rail and R&W Langley.
Our highly skilled and motivated workforce embrace the R&W values of being safe, showing respect and always delivering. This approach – the “R&W Way” – has helped us develop enduring and effective relationships with our clients as well as win awards for superb service, operational excellence and positive environmental impact.
We strive to continually improve what we do and work hard at achieving recognised business standards and accreditations including ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, BS 11000, and ISO 14001.
Working ethically and with integrity is embedded in our culture, as is adding a little fun to each working day. Our corporate commitments include providing opportunity and a safe working environment for those we work with; ensuring customer satisfaction; supporting our communities; and working sustainably. For example: R&W Environmental recycles dry and wet waste from our sites, from those of our clients and from other businesses, to reduce the volumes sent to landfill and allow for reprocessed material to be reused on roads and in other construction projects.
We are an accredited Investor in People, meaning we have a structured approach to developing those already employed at R&W as well as being dedicated to helping apprentices and graduates into work, and increasing the number and diversity of people within our industry.
